PAGE graduate April Humble presented her analysis of tightening border controls to a fringe event at the important Climate Change discussions which took place in Paris last week. The side meeting covered key issues of military responses and responsibilities for making climate change worse.
April has also recently co-authored a chapter on the ‘militarised exclusion’ in the edited volume The Secure and the Dispossessed, with PAGE’s own Dr Steve Wright and TNI’s Dr Ben Hayes, who also spoke at the PAGE Festival a few weeks ago. In addition to that April is an active blogger at Open Democracy (click here to read some of her posts).
April Humble is Junior Scientist in the Climate Impacts and Economics Department at the Climate Services Centre in Germany and works on issues of climate change and migration.
